Corruption, Shadow Economy and Deforestation: Friends or Strangers?

چکیده

This study aims to reveal the connection between corruption and shadow economy, on one hand, deforestation, other. The research considers 131 countries from all over world, in timeframe years 2012 2020, it reveals that economy positively influence deforestation. Determinants like democratic governance quality, press freedom, wood export share, culture are also key factors implementing right, efficient countermeasures aimed at reducing levels of illegal deforestation sustainably managing forestland. importance this is provide a solid quantitative basis decision-makers come across problem logging through better, fact-based understanding phenomenon.
